Radici e Filari La Giga 2019 Arneis

Giga is the name of an ancient dance that still accompanies the most authentic moments of celebration in Piemonte.

Appellation: Langhe Arneis DOC

Tasting Notes: Yellow straw color with greenish reflections. Rich nose, acacia flowers, broom, crisp white fruit, apple, pear and almond. Dry, harmonic palate with pleasant acidulous vein that gives freshness and persistence.

Food Pairing: Saffron risotto, grilled fish, light pasta dishes and various cheeses.

Vineyard: Planted in 1989, the soil is a chalky marl of Tortonian origin at an altitude of 250m above sea level with a northwest exposure. Biodynamically farmed.

Harvest: Hand picked.

Vinification: Spontaneously fermented in stainless steel tanks. Left to rest on the lees for 3 months. Aged 5 months in stainless steel casks and three months in the bottle.
