Varietals: Verdicchio 90%, Trebbiano 10%
Tasting Notes: On the nose look for aromas of apples, sun-dried fruits and hazelnuts. Dry and crisp on the palate with flavors of melon and citrus fruits.
Food Pairing: Marcona almonds, proscuitto, savory tarts, potato-cheese puff pastries, quiche / savory soufflés.
Vineyard: The 40-year-old vineyard is located in Cupramontana San Marco area, 450m above sea level, facing the North and Monte Follonica. The area results in a production of wines with a strong personality, having characteristics of freshness and salinity, unique to the region.
Harvest: By hand and placed into little baskets
Vinification: Traditional grape-stomping by feet. Spontaneous fermentation. 9 months in stainless steel. Clarification by decantation and wide filtration.
