Eugenio Bocchino Lu Barolo D.O.C.G.
Tasting notes: Deep garnet color. On the nose you will find perfectly mixed floral and tertiary qualities. On the palate, the wine is rich, full-bodied and elegant with notes of licorice, cherries in liqueur, cacao and fresh raspberries.
Food pairing: Tagliolini with white truffles of course!
The harvest: By hand.
Vinification: Wine is fermented with indigenous yeasts. Maceration takes 4 – 5 days in stainless steel tanks, followed by fermentation for 30 days. Wine is then transferred to traditional big oak vats and undergoes malolactic fermentation. Wine is matured in Slavonian oak for 30 months. Followed by blending and bottling. After one year, the bottles are ready for release.
