Appellation: Mitterberg IGT
Tasting Notes: Very accessible and refreshing wine with gentle and elegant floral aromas and a subtle citrus fruit note. The palate is mineral and refreshing with good acidity and a long pleasurable finish.
Food Pairing: Fish and shellfish, lightly grilled white meats, roasted root vegetables and cheese.
Vineyard: The vines for this wine are organically farmed. The vineyard is located in Eppan, South Tyrol, between 900 and 1300 feet above sea level. The soils are loamy, calcareous and deep with a high amount of white dolomite rock.
Harvest: Gently handpicked between 20th of August and 26th of September.
Vinification: The bunches are destemmed with care, the fermentation is spontaneous, initiated by vineyard-own yeast. The fermented juice is matured for 12 months on the lees in a neutral 500-liter oak barrels and stainless steel. Bottled unfiltered in August 2020.
