Tasting Notes: This wine has a bright color and a gentle fruity aroma. The elegant flavor of this fresh white wine surprises the palate with spicy notes, tasting of sage and ripe stone fruits.
Food Pairing: Goat cheese, grilled artichokes, crab cakes.
Vineyard: The vines for this wine are organically farmed. The vines are grown between 500 – 700 meters above sea level in Eppan Berg, in the mountainous region of South Tyrol, North Italy. Loamy and calcareous soil with high contents of white Dolomite rock.
Harvest: Gently handpicked; typically the first varietal to be harvested
Vinification: Destemmed with care. Spontaneous fermentation with vineyard-own yeast. 4 months in a neutral oak barrel, 8 months in a steel tank; always on the yeast. Bottled unfined + unfiltered.
ABV: 13.5% by Vol.
